Join us for this one night event to discuss vaping and trends in teen substance abuse. In partnership with the Caron Foundation and JumpSpark Atlanta. Vaping is a reality in the lives of our teens today. In fact, about 13% of 8th graders, 24% of 10th graders, and nearly 28% of 12th graders at U.S. schools reported using a vaping device in the past year, according to data from the 2017 Monitoring the Future survey. There is a huge disconnect between the level of use among teen in our community and the information and resources parents have on the subject. Help us change that for the parents of Jewish teens in Atlanta.
Special guest Dean Monteleone will speak from his deep well of experience about vaping, teen trends with drugs and alcohol and give participants tools and strategies for taking this information home.
